Full Service Extended Schools (FSES) PDF Print E-mail

The measures employed by BIP seek to support teaching and learning in participating schools and focus on both individual needs and those of the wider school community. As part of the programme a Full Service Extended School partnership has been established between the Marlowe Academy and Newlands Primary School. The schools receive additional funding in order for them to provide a range of services and activities, often beyond the school day, to help meet the needs of pupils, their families and the wider community. The schools provide a core of services including health and social care, childcare, study support, adult and family learning, family support, ICT access and sports and arts facilities.
